Voices Of Violence Lyrics

Don't wait for, a knight in shining armour
Your savior's, reflected in the mirror
These flowers, have grown from bloodstains on the ground!

Go rake the, leaves of your grass and my grave
The fact is, everyone bleeds when they shave
There's no use, so don't deny we're just the same!

We'll take it back!
Broken dagger, southern swagger
Voices of violence

These cowboys, will ride off in the sunset
Once their toys, have turned another profit
Back fire, their smoking guns will never rest!

Unleash the, skeletons from the closet
These strangers, are friends that you never met
They'll send them, sympathies with a hallmark card

We'll take it back!
Broken dagger, southern swagger
Voices of violence

Even after I'm dead and buried, I'll still remember
Even after I'm dead and buried, I'll come back fighting!

We'll take it back!
Broken dagger, southern swagger
Voices of violence

Voices of violence will always be heard

Corrections on the lyrics. 1) It's SAVOIR's.

2) In the chorus, it's "We'll take it back. Broken Dagger, Southern Swagger."

Damn good song,

This is an excelent song. When I went to the Billy Talent concert in October 03, the members said a little bit about this song before they played it and said that, to them, it sort of represented Bush and all that shit.

(and whoever posted the lyrics, look at a dictionary...

    1) Herd=heard 2)Burried=buried 3)Denie=Deny 4)have doned another...=have turned another... 5)Unlease=Unleash 6)meet=met 6)They'll send them shipments to hold my gun = They'll send them, sympathies with a hallmark card.)

Why can't song posters just get it right, so they don't have to be corrected?

mmkay, i'm bored, so i'm going to go more into detail then my last post did. just do i don't get anyone on my ass for using "wrong" lyrics, i'm taking these right out of the c.d. booklet.

"Dont wait for, a knight in shining armour your savior's, reflected in the mirror" this is saying that you can't look to anyone else to help you, you have to actually take a stand and do something.

"these cowboys, will ride off in the sunset once their toys, have turned another profit" the cow boy represents bush, and how as soon as he gets money out of iraq, or whatever country he will leave and leave his "toys" to rebuild.

"unleash the, skeletons from the closet" maybe the guys are saying that bush should make his past public. take his skeletons out of the closet. or maybe, it's a reference to michael moore, and the books/documentaries he's doing on bush.

"we'll take it back!" maybe this is a promise that bush won't get re-elected, that the people will take back the power they gave him (unfortuantly, if that is the case, it didn't happen D: )

"even after i'm dead and buried, i'll still remember even after i'm dead and buried, i'll come back fighting!" maybe that the people who died for bush's 'cause' won't forgive him, and they (family members/friends fighting in their name?) will fight him.

"voices of violence will always be heard" this might just be to the protesters. people always listen to the protests, for whatever reason, and maybe it's saying that they might get through to enough people to make a difference.

    that's just my opinion though.
