azyne, "which version" refers to the two different types of virginity. it is kind of controversial, but some people believe that they can become born-again christians or whatever and be cleansed of their sins, being innocent, like a virgin again. obviously, they aren't physically virigins, but i think it's more of a psychological virginity, as in, they believe that they are virgins again. the other type of virginity is well, being a virgin. at least..i think that's what he's referring to?
ok
i figured out who allison krause is. at first i thought this song is about the country-western singer allison krause, but its not! it's about a girl who was killed at the kent state shooting named allison krause. at least, it makes a 1000000000000 times more sense?
It basically means that he doesn't believe her when she says she's a virgin. But I don't know how that relates to the bluegrass singer or the girl killed in the shooting.
My name is Alison, so I shudder every time I hear this.
He sounds pretty bitter on this one.
There's many different kinds of virginity ( that line does, in fact, kick ass). You can be a virgin of intercourse, any sexual play, or of other experiences like love, breaking a law, trying a new food, etc. You're a "virgin" to anything you haven't tried. But I think it is a hooker/easy girl and he's being sarcastic about her fake innocence. She may be acting like she's naive when she's really playing him. At least, that's what I got when I read the lyrics. Not necessarily a sexual virgin, just a supposedly innocent girl.
it's about a girl he thinks he is falling in love with, but is finding out that she has lied about herself in order to try to make him love her (this is the reason for the virgin line, girls say that to seem more desirable) so what else about herself is she lying about just to get him to love her? if she was being honest, would he love her at all? he has reason to believe she's not being genuine, come on allison, get real with him
augh!!!!!!!! what does this song mean?! and what is the connection to allison krausse?! somebody tell me!!!!
i think its about a hooker named allison
i dont care what it means, i think that the line "she lied and said she was virgin and i asked her which, which version" is the funniest thing ive ever heard. im in love with the stills
