No idea why, but they omit lyrics from the booklet in this song. Fran screams...it's easy to hear that he screams something to the affect of "And if you lay in bed, jump the fuck up, on your feet, and with me, breakdown" Or something like that...it's impossible to find the actual lyrics
To me it sounds like "And if you hurt like me, get the fuck up up". But who knows- those jerks didnt put it un the booklet! >:O

Those lyrics right there are so fucking beautiful... Reminds me of the hurt I went through when my ex decided to fuck some guy, then say it was a mistake a year later and came crying wanting me back... If she "loved" me as much as she said when she was on her knees, begging me to take her back, then as the song says, "You should (have) been seeing me in your dreams..."
Ben's lines are all about looking back on a dead relationship where the chick should feel guilty.
Fran's lines have nothing to do with Ben's, they're about all this horse-shit wannabe emo that's wicked popular now
fata's new album isnt as good as Too Bad You're Beautiful. i dont think they'll ever be able to top that. they just had the right amount of screaming mixed with the emotional singing. on this cd they just cant seem to get it right. the difference of sound is just too much. they sound like a totally differend band now. i dont know. maybe its just me.

Swallowed the fact that our dream had died." i can relate. not many people know how truely agonizing it is to literaly put a picture of an exlover aside is. it tore me apart to do it. i actually did it when i got the album cuz' this song gave me the strength to do it.
i really like those lines aswell, accept to me its more of a future than a past thing, its happened to me before but the relationship im in now im SO scared of ever going through that because i never want it to end ..anyway enough of the irrelevant story, has anyone got any theories ont he rest of the lyrics ? sounds to me like it's written as if it was someone in the process of breaking up with someone 'judgement please dont fail me now' maybe kind of an 'am i making the right descision here' i get the gist of most of the lyrics but cant seem to figure out 'Begin, present, fade out,' any theories ?
I believe the "Begin. Present. Fade out." part is him thinking what he'll do, and knowing it will soon be over, and he can move on.
i agree with that. sounds like hes gonna break up with her and is thinking about how to do it. he cared about her alot but knows that it's over and it has to be done. he's pushing her aside like she did to him. i think fran's lines have everything to do with ben's. he's thinking about what he should do, so there's obviously gonna be some self doubt.
to me the screaming part that isnt in the lyrics sounds like:
