I think in a way its kind of a love song but magical...all things shoot through me and all things shoot through you....your a dream..move in circles...made the first fire and the last one....it seems like two people really connect but in the end of the song its almost like it ended but for good reasons...he means to make you strong he never went away..cuz what you need you are...Its kinda self explanatory

grosso modo, that's just pretty much how everything is connected, i think. and when he says relief in all things it means that even though you go through something tough you'll find some relief in a certain aspect of the situation, since everything is connected together in some way...

dosedxbyyou, I think your comment about going through something tough but finding relief in it - hit the nail on the head.

I think the most important line is "Cuz what you need you are". After listening to many of John's songs he seems to be very concerned with the idea of fate and everyones ability to affect their own fate. Although it is surely not this simple, I think it is what he is getting at. Thats my opinion.

this is one of the rare songs john makes where every line has its meaning. the main aspect coming thriugh here is that of fate in everyone. he believes that everyone should see the real side of themselves and this is the way to help people relese that and get the relief of them. i dodnt have time to say about the lines ill be back later though. it takes a while to construct how to put this stuff in. ill be back in about an hour

"travel slowly, move in circles" Dont moove too fast and forget who you are or were. As a person you will change and evolve slowly, but you cant lose sight of your past. by traveling in circles you come back to the same places where you were, but as a slightly different person. maybe this ties in with "you make it through the day, see things another way"
