21:13 Lyrics
In our sleep, there's more to this nightmare
Will she beg for your mercy?
Slowly but sure, I'm hoping what comes in the absense of love
At night, she'll kick and she'll fight, should they fill in his sight
At night, I'll worry from all, the end of us all
Please mom, they're coming for me
Please mom, run lock your door, they're coming for me
The clock reads 21:13
All work will stop
And the ground will relieve
Please mom, they're coming for me
Please mom, run lock your door, they're coming for
When I fall asleep
Your face is all I see
Dear momma I love
I fall asleep
Your face is all I dream
Dear momma I love
Oh, in your frame you'll be this well
In the face you miss the most
You'll see them soon
Stop, I bid you fair warning
Stay up until you
When the memories occur
Of a life you haven't lived
Stay still, you will
I've got a secret to hide
And I've got a secret to hide
In the words
Of father to son
Thy Kingdom Come
Whoa whoa whoa
Whoa whoa whoa
Whoa whoa whoa
Whoa whoa whoa
Please mom, they're coming for me
Please mom, run lock your door, they're coming for
When I fall asleep
Your face is all I see
Dear momma I love
I fall asleep
Your face is all I dream
Dear momma I love
Whoa whoa whoa
Whoa whoa whoa
When I fall asleep
Whoa whoa whoa
Whoa whoa whoa
When I fall asleep
Those days we lost our dignity
The eager dare to stand
The ride home through victory
All the innocent they tried
But I, robot, will never die
I, robot, will never die
But I, robot, will never die
But I, robot, will never die
Will she beg for your mercy?
Slowly but sure, I'm hoping what comes in the absense of love
At night, she'll kick and she'll fight, should they fill in his sight
At night, I'll worry from all, the end of us all
Please mom, run lock your door, they're coming for me

i, robot is actually a little extra song after godsend conspirator on second stage turbine blade.
This song is in reference to 21:13, the time when Coheed kills his children in "Time Consumer".
This is about Claudio dreaming about what happened at his house (during the song 'Everything Evil'). He wishes, during this dream, that he could somehow go back in time and warn his mother.
This is a tribute to Rush only by way of the title. It is actually called 21:13 because (on the CD) after The Light and the Glass ends, there are 21 minutes and 12 seconds of silence before this song begins, collectively called A Whole Lot of Nothing. This song is, I believe related to My Brother's Blood Machine, and the characters Butchie and Long-Arm Bleam, who have a strong love for their mother. This song details their final moments before their planet is destroyed. Another hint that this song relates to My Brother's Blood Machine is its placement on the album. Like 21:13, the final song on MBBM (78, which details the start of the Amory Wars) is preceded by 77 individual silences known as the space between Easter and the end.
I kno this post is ancient, but I feel it needs addressing: 21:13 has nothing to do with the 'Whole Lot Of Nothing' track lengths, because collectively those only add to 01:14 of 'dead air'. 21:13 is the time (as in 9:13 PM) when Coheed Kilgannon kills Maria (his star) and Matthew (goodnight) in the Amory Wars graphic novels after being led by Mayo Deftinwolf to believe that his (Coheed's) children were carriers of a mutated version of his own Monstar Virus, known as the Sinstar.

Great song. Needed to be commented on.
Yeah, I agree. Comment it. I have no desire to try to find the meaning in this one. I'm just gonna wait on the book. But his range is capital in this song. Insane. I also love the guitar in the middle/end of this song from "Time Consumer". Cool that they added it back in there.
I think that claudio's mourning the loss of his mother, and reliving the instance her death....regardless of whether or not I'm correct, this song...there are no words, heh.
Does anyone know if the "I, Robot" part is actually part of this song, like does it fit in with it, or is it totally different? I'm pretty sure there's no silent time inbetween, but I have no idea how it fits in with the rest of the song.
it's a completely different song and it doesn't fit in, there's like a minute of silence and then it comes on at the end...

I don't know what album you got, but according to mine, it was immediately after

isn't the i, robot part a seperate song that is linked into from it? i'm sure there's lyrics for the song 'i, robot' on plyrics.com or somewhere like that...
I, robot is a little extra song a couple minutes after the end of time consumer on secnod stage turbine blade. They probably just added that part because it was part of time consumer.
