no this is about a spiritual battle amidst us. media and science tries to disprove God and manipulate people, but believers must coalesce and fight back for what they believe.

I agree with marxsux. This is a spiritual unseen battle..."until they're washed away" may refer to our sins? This tune is definately something we can all relate to.."waves of regret"..re: our words, actions, thoughts (lives)..whichever side of the divide we're on! (concerniing belief in the one true God)It will be the believers that will win "in the END". Cool song..love this band.
