I agree with everyone too, the first time I heard this song I fell in love with it, and now I cant get the lyrics out of my head. They have such a diffrent sound, but somehow it works! This song is great!

the first ever rocket summer song i heard, and it totally hooked me.
i was actually listening to this on a rainy wet day (in the middle of june... typical brit weather sigh), and i was absolutely convinced it was blue skies outside. so i looked out and what dya know, it was pissing it down.... that was the effect it had on me. lovin it!

so for those of you who didnt get the song, its about a girl named beth that passed away in november of i think 2002. He is saying that he knows he should be sad that she died, and he hates to admitt it, but hes really happy because her death taught him not to take little things for granted. so now he can enjoy the beautiful views and things that come with life. Vefore she died, him andher had wished it would snow, because it never did since they were in texas. it finally snowed, but after she died, so she never lived to see it. i figured it all out because i was reading the album cover one day and reading his thankyou's in the back of the cover and it says in small print, Beth Dupertis, "skies so blue" is dedicated in the memory of beth. or something like that
