I blackout!
Don't you put words in my mouth
Don't try to shut me up
I'm not about plastic skin
I gotta get out, gotta get out, in
What about those things you said to me?
What about the time we've wasted
Everyday's just like the one before
Everytime I see your face I
Blackout
You know I gotta get in
I blackout
Just let me in
Blackout
Ya know I gotta get in
But I gotta know now
Where do I fit in?
Don't you tell me what to think
You'll never know how I should feel
I see through plastic skin
I gotta get out, gotta get out, in
What about the five o'clock news?
What about the Sunday paper?
Everyday's just like the one before
Everytime I turn the page I
Blackout
You know I gotta get in
I blackout
Just let me in
Blackout
Ya know I gotta get in
But I gotta know now
Where do I fit in?
I can't breathe
My heart is freezing
While we pray
My soul is packing its bags
And leaving
Blackout!
Blackout!
What about those things you said to me
What about the time we've wasted
Everyday's just like the one before
Everytime I see your face I
Blackout
Ya know I gotta get in
I blackout
Just let me in
Blackout
Ya know I gotta get in
But I gotta know now
Where do I fit in?
I wanna know now
Where do I fit in?
Don't try to shut me up
I'm not about plastic skin
I gotta get out, gotta get out, in
What about those things you said to me?
What about the time we've wasted
Everyday's just like the one before
Everytime I see your face I
You know I gotta get in
I blackout
Just let me in
Blackout
Ya know I gotta get in
But I gotta know now
Where do I fit in?
You'll never know how I should feel
I see through plastic skin
I gotta get out, gotta get out, in
What about the five o'clock news?
What about the Sunday paper?
Everyday's just like the one before
Everytime I turn the page I
You know I gotta get in
I blackout
Just let me in
Blackout
Ya know I gotta get in
But I gotta know now
Where do I fit in?
My heart is freezing
While we pray
My soul is packing its bags
And leaving
Blackout!
What about the time we've wasted
Everyday's just like the one before
Everytime I see your face I
Ya know I gotta get in
I blackout
Just let me in
Blackout
Ya know I gotta get in
But I gotta know now
Where do I fit in?
Where do I fit in?

This song is on MVP Baseball 2003.
this song is about today and society. how so many people out there that choose to be jsut that a little bit out there are completely outkast, completely fuked around. the thing is hed pe speak the truth in there third album blackout. and this title track speaks the truth, jahrad has changed and he is now more into looking at the world and seeing things as they are. punks
this is the fourth album. i don't know about you, but this song sounds like it's discussing people who are extremely affected by the media, so they get reffered to as "plastic faces". in more particularly, this song is about a guy who likes a media affected girl who he finally got along with, but now he notices how plastic she is. the video clip is a bit disappointing.
i always thought this song was about escaping from the problems in the world. 'blackout' and dont worry
Dude I absolutly love this song! When I first heard of Hed (p.e.) i thought that they might not sound as good as i thought... but they happen to be my current favoritest rap-rock even right now!
i think it means like people being intensely influenced by the media and celabs. like the don't tell me what to think.
I think it's about being around loser people every day and not going anywhere. You get around these talentless fucks and just blackout for the rest of your time with them, not committing any memory to the waste of time. It's about wanting something more and to contribute.
