Think about the love inside the strength of heart
Think about the heroes saving life in the dark
Climbing higher, through the fire
Time was running out
Never knowing you weren't going to be coming down alive
But you still came back for me
You were strong and you believed

Everything is going to be alright
Everything is going to be alright
Everything is going to be alright
Be strong, believe

Be strong, believe

Think about the chance I never had to say
Thank you for giving up your life that day
Never fearing, only hearing voices calling out
Let it all go, the life that you know
Just to bring it down alive
And you still came back for me
You were strong and you believed

Everything is going to be alright
Everything is going to be alright
Everything is going to be alright
Be strong, believe

Everything is going to be alright
Everything is going to be alright
Everything is going to be alright
Be strong, believe

Again today, we take into our hearts and minds
Those who perished on this site one year ago
And also those who came to toil in the rubble
To bring order out of chaos
To help us make sense of our despair

Wanna hold my wife when I get home
Wanna tell my kids they'll never know
How much I love to see them smile
Wanna to make a change right here, right now
Wanna live a life like you somehow
Wanna make your sacrifice worthwhile

Everything is going to be alright
Everything is going to be alright
Everything is going to be alright
Be strong, believe

Everything is going to be alright
Everything is going to be alright
Everything is going to be alright
Be strong, believe

I think about the love inside, the strength of heart (everything is going to be alright)
I think about the heroes saving life in the dark (everything is going to be alright, be strong, believe)
I think about the chance I never had to say (everything is going to be alright)
Thank you for giving up your life that day (everything is going to be alright, be strong, believe)

The world will little note, nor long remember what we say here
But it can never forget what they did here

awesome, amazing uplifting song. I had a really rough time this past semester and at one very low, low point my best friend looked at me and said Everything is gonna be alright, be strong believe. and from that day til the end of my horrible ass semester, i listened to that song right after i woke up and it truly helped.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.

“Head > Heels” is a track that aims to capture what it feels like to experience romance that exceeds expectations. Ed Sheeran dedicates his album outro to a lover who has blessed him with a unique experience that he seeks to describe through the song’s nuanced lyrics.
