Well, tcpl, I guess you've never said anything and had it misinterpreted from a negative angle. It doens't exactly induce waves of pleasure through you. It can be difficult to change what people really think when something is interpreted wrong.

I think this song is about someone that basically looks around at their life sees the complete disarray and the potential for sinking further. They seem to have a rather disillusioned view of life, and have thoughts of what life would be like if they simply weren't a part of it. I think that the main feeling that is expressed here is a very angry sadness. I think that it begins with frustration followed by desparation (to come up with a solution).

My best birthday was when i turned 15 nd my sisters bought me a ticket to see Sum 41. Best concert ever. This song was the one that really stuck with me and i listened to it almost every day until i got Chuck, then i fell in love with that album.

i love this song, it means to me that hes done something which has fucked everything up, or said something and someones twisted his words (i can totaly relate atm!!)

Im not sure what the over-all meaning of this song is but the line that sticks out to me is in the chorus. "Now I'm in over my head, with something i said, completely misread, im better off dead." This line to me, everyone can relate to. It saying that he has said things and somebody took it the wrong way and told everyone else about it and its so overwhelming on him. Thats just what I think though.

he's said something to a chic, and she's interpreted it the wrong way. now he's saying she's always been fake and he's discovered her and now he's gonna break up with her and move on.. maybe? lol
