Thankyou to the people in my life
For putting up with me
And thankyou for the time you sacrificed
All on account of me
Chorus -
For all the times I didn't say
The times I didn't say
For all the times I didn't say
The times I didn't say
Fuck you to the jaded and the fake
Like to see what you would do
Fuck you and the judgements that you make
We're not all perfect just like you, like you, like you
Chorus
All the times I didn't say (x2)
Thankyou to the people in my life for putting up with me
For putting up with me
And thankyou for the time you sacrificed
All on account of me
For all the times I didn't say
The times I didn't say
For all the times I didn't say
The times I didn't say
Like to see what you would do
Fuck you and the judgements that you make
We're not all perfect just like you, like you, like you

speechless another hard-hitting, truthful song, by yours truly ... Aaron.
This song is my motto and also my theme song ... thanking all the people who've put up with me when I was difficult and stubborn, and the wasted time I think they've spent on me, which really wasn't a waste of time at all; this is the perfect song for any introvert who has a hard time letting people know how they feel, a dedication & proclamation.
Fuck the weak and the fake people in the world & the judgements they dish out on each and everyone of us ... thinking their perfect and in reality far from it.
This song reminds me so much of Korns "4U". I get so much of a sense that he's not just talking to the poeple he really knows and loves... like he's talking to his fans. I mean, if you've ever been to a concert for any band like this... the overwhelming feeling you get realizing that just about every single person there has felt like you at one time or another and this band is your connection. Can you imagine how it would feel for someone like Aaron Lewis? Stainds music, while also being really well written songs with a deeper meaning are just crying and bitching on the surface... it's almost like he's going over it all and saying "I'm sorry for complaining so much. I just didn't see the world like I do now, but thank you for making me see it. Thank you for letting me know I'm not alone."
At least that's the way I look at it...
ahhh i finally find the lyrics to yet another awesome song by staind. the official website doesnt have the lyrics to this. i think i'll have to agree with you eeyore1883 on the meaning. it is sort the perfect closing song to the album too as it is a thank you to everyone for sticking by him and what hes been thru. =)
This truely is prolly my favorit song by staind, i love the entire song and have loved it since the very first time I heard it. and also i completly agree with both eeyore and saroknight

I really like this song and I am glad they chose it to be the last shade of grey on their 14 shades of grey album. Fuck the jaded and the fake.
Amazing. Aaron always knows how to end an album. Although it's named Intro, it's a perfect ending to 14 Shades. Absolutely amazing.
Simple, concise, accurate... Perfect :)
this song is awesome.
