i love this song.. it reminds me of my boyfriend.. not because of what it says but because we were at the record store and they had a listening station where you could listen to cds before buying them.. i was listening to this cd.. i was actualy listening tot he song suffocate.. it told him i loved the song and he played this one for me.. he told me it was one of his favorites..

it reminds me of the relationship he has with his dad in some ways...

This song reminds me of how a lot of my friends are druggies and drunks, partying it up all the time. I've always felt that I don't belong with them. Scooter is saying the exact same thing. If you find where he says it on the cold fan board, they have it. He says that there are times where he "didn't want to be seen as too drunk or too messed up... There are situations where we all feel we don't belong." He recognizes that he's had problems and he's been fucked up in the past and is regretful, which is where this song comes from.

TheBestEver, that is the same axact thing that happened to me. I'm a pretty chill guy, but when it comes to girls, I can't really be "casual" about it, and my ex hated that, so she broke up with me. And I told my new gf (who I love a lot, more than I ever liked my ex), and, though she really likes me, i think shes distanced herself from me.... I hope i'm wrong, though.... time will tell....

Im actually going through this situation right now which is what the lyrics are about. Ive met a girl that I have strong feelings for and she likes me alot too.
