The Things We'll Never Know Lyrics
One more time in this game we play
Sorry that I couldn't make you stay
Placing pieces in the floor
Of all the things that we loved before
Like puddles, in the rain
Like puddles, we wash away
Hate me now so I can move on
Make it easier to see that you're gone
All the things they're gone too
Turn and changed into memories
Like puddles, in the rain
Like puddles, we wash away
New York City streets with friends by your side
Telling stories in words who've left us behind
All the things we'll never say
Leaving like puddles in the rain
Like puddles[2x]
in the rain
We wash away[3x]
Like puddles[2x]
in the rain
We wash away[3x]
Sorry that I couldn't make you stay
Placing pieces in the floor
Of all the things that we loved before
Like puddles, in the rain
Like puddles, we wash away
Hate me now so I can move on
Make it easier to see that you're gone
All the things they're gone too
Turn and changed into memories
Like puddles, in the rain
Like puddles, we wash away
New York City streets with friends by your side
Telling stories in words who've left us behind
All the things we'll never say
Leaving like puddles in the rain
Like puddles[2x]
in the rain
We wash away[3x]
Like puddles[2x]
in the rain
We wash away[3x]

i can't believe that no one has commented on this song yet! i admit that this isn't one of the best TBS songs but i do like it more than i like some of the other ones... although all TBS songs are awesome. they have grown to be one of my favorite bands because of their meaningful lyrics and their awesome melodies. any comments? peace out
i like the song. the meaning of the song is pretty obvious, its is about a break up and all the memories have been changed into memories and thats it, nothing special, just memories...
you're down for selling me out, while i played dumb. it's cool cause i let you. thought i'd never catch you... you'd say "we're only good friends" yeah, real good freinds... i bet i bet
wow, I'm surprised so few people commented on this one too. I think this is a great song... although they do have better... it's still TBS, and they kick ass, so this song IS good. hmm I can actually relate to this song quite a bit. I wish I knew how to say those things
great fuckin song
consistently the unique tbs sound, although i definitely see them developing in this song. i love when they make references to new york heh. actually, let me ramble here...off the new deja cd, they make a reference to montauk point, and yes that makes me happy as well. eh i'm done.
taking back sunday is an amazing band. its really sad that theyre going through all their crap right now, but never-the-less i love them b/c their lyrics are strong and their music rocks my socks off*
ok im just leaving this in a random song but.... does anyone know how to read the lyric book in tell all your friends? its so weird, the lyrics jump all over the place.
tbs=back in business(or so i've heard):-Dfuck yes. the lyric book in tell all your friends jumps like mad, but i think they're the lyrics in an order of a paragraph or story, or trying to make sense, instead of verse/chorus/verse type.
the lyrics are just written the way adam and john wrote them originally, they just wrote stuff and put it to music like that. theres stuff missing in there, and stuff in there that never is actually in the songs.
aint this song sang by antonio longo? b4 the 2nd line up? its off that 6 track demo i believe. not entirely sure though
