I really like this song. It reminds me of last summer when i had all of these friends and we hung out all the time and had a blast doin stupid shit." Yeah, Jess same here. Unfortunately this song kinda depresses me. Cause most of my friends have changed so much (even in 3 months). I just don't want to think of them as anything than what they were. I guess I'm all set for "A life full of memories".

this song reminds me of this past summer...it kinda brings me down, but in a good way, if that makes sense..."by my own design i fall" i think he's talking about how he left someone that he was with in the summer, and now he misses them...still, the sacrafice is worth the future outcome...
this song really puts into words a lot of what i was feeling over this last summer and how i feel. i had a really tough year, so at the beginning of the summer i was optimistic about the future, trying to convince myself that it would be good, but now that the summer is over, everything is just worse.
also, this song is really cool for me because i live in st. louis, and when i'm on page avenue, i think, so this is where SOTY was and this is where they think of when they play this song. it's amazing.
Losing people you care about is never worth the future outcome, no matter how fucking good it seems. The only person that I cared about in this goddamn life was taken away forever and it sucksass. Just because of a bunch of selfish motherfuckers didn't like it... It's just not worth the sacrifice. This song seems to be saying to me that he had something he cared about, then he lost it and all he has left is his memories of it.
