why does ptw's new stuff sound like hatebreed?
haha thats exactly what i thought as soon as i heard the new stuff. its going to take some getting used to, thats for sure...i just really dont want them to be exploited by atlantic and get lumped on "modern rock" radio with all the other shit bands.
it took about one listen for it to grow on me. i was skeptical as i heard the cd through, but once it was done, i realized ptw had just topped tear from the red.

It does sound alot like hatebreed at first, but when i kept listenin, its all them ya kno. But yah i will be crushed if they hit the radio.

Their new stuff is close to hatebrrred but his scream is a little different. His scream has a really melodic sound to it, and the music is far better than anything hatebreed has come up with. Hatebreed is so fuckin' generic, at first I was skeptical too but I have grown to love this CD, it's alot different but i think they put alot more time and effort into this CD. I fuckin love it, can't wait to see it performed at warped tour. Adn who cares if they've been on MTV, Alexisonfire is on Much and Much Loud all the time, if you don't know who they are go download them. And Avenged Sevenfold is amazingey are not the be all and end all of hardcore, there's alot better bands out there.
