Fix what’s wrong, but don’t rewrite what the artist wrote. Stick to the official released version — album booklet, label site, verified lyric video, etc. If you’re guessing, pause and double-check.
Respect the structure
Songs have rhythm. Pages do too. Leave line breaks where they belong. Don’t smash things together or add extra empty space just for looks.
Punctuation counts (but vibe-editing doesn’t)
Correct typos? Yes. Re-punctuating a whole verse because it ‘looks better’? Probably not. Keep capitalization and punctuation close to the official source.
Don’t mix versions
If you’re editing the explicit version, keep it explicit. If it’s the clean version, keep it clean. No mashups.
Let the lyrics be lyrics
This isn’t the place for interpretations, memories, stories, or trivia — that’s what comments are for. Keep metadata, translations, and bracketed stage directions out unless they’re officially part of the song.
Edit lightly
If two lines are wrong… fix the two lines. No need to bulldoze the whole page. Think ‘surgical,’ not ‘remix.’
When in doubt, ask the crowd
Not sure what they’re singing in that fuzzy bridge? Drop a question in the comments and let the music nerds swarm. Someone always knows.
i would just like to add that having sex to this song is hands down the world's most mind blowing experience. i would highly recommend it. it's an orgasm on top of an orgasm. pure bliss.
gosh. i love this song. i know it's probably not, but it ALMOST sounds like english...
'you sigh' esque. has anyone noticed that?? probably.
one of the best songs on () definitely
This is one brilliant track..i've never heard of any song this breathtaking..at 11 minutes plus. What a wet dream..and i have no idea what the hell the guy's saying but who cares. It sounds nice anyway.
This song is unlike all other Sigur Ros songs, but they still managed to pull off a very hard hitting song, one of the best ending tracks to an album I've ever heard.
this is one of the most powerful songs i've ever heard. Sigur Ros carves such amazing mood to all their songs. The mood i get from this one is a mix of fear, acceptence, and suspense. My favorite on the album, although they're all brilliant.

Sigur Ros pulls off the trick of turning a ballad into the most apocalyptic rock outro ever.
Great finale.

The guy Jonsi is not really saying nothing at all. Just a made up language. The whole cd is amazing and not one word of english hehe
This is my favorite song on the album. Untitled 1 is great, but I think this is so moving and amazing.

Sigur Ros is what God listens to when he wants to play with heaven. I feel privileged just hearing this music. Ethereal bliss.
