Redemption Lyrics
I'm wearing out a lonely road
I miss you more than I could know
Here I am, here I am
Won't you keep me?
Whose scars are bigger than these doubts of mine
I'll fit all of these monstrosities inside
And I'll come alive, come alive
I was running out of mysteries
Insecure and incomplete
Here I am, here I am,
Won't you keep me?
Whose scars are bigger than these doubts of mine
I'll fit all of these monstrosities inside
And I'll come alive, come alive
Alive, come alive
My fears have worn me out, yea
My fears have worn me out
My fears have worn me, worn me
Whose scars are bigger than these doubts of mine
I'll fit all of these monstrosities inside
And I'll come alive
(I've got my hands) at redemption's side
(Whose scars) are bigger than (bigger than) these doubts of mine
I'll fit all of these monstrosities inside
And come alive, come alive
This song I think is talking about telling God your hear and you accepte him and you want him to take over your life.
I think song talks about giving everything up to God and telling him you except him into your life
I think this song is about "forgetting" about God and putting other things before Him, and then asking for forgiveness.
ITS ABOUT HIM REALIZING THAT HE IS SETTING GOD ASIDE ANS PUTTING OTHER THINGS FIRST SO HE ASKS GOD TO FORGIVE HIM
THE LYRICS ARE I'm wearing out a lonely road anyway i love this song and i also like CAKE
i think
I actually think that the chorus is about "doubting thomas." "Ive got my hands in redemptions side whose scars are bigger than these doubts of mine" redemption is jesus and its talking about when thomas touches jesus scars from crucifixion to prove that it is indeed him
Sorry to correct you i(heart)miemyers but the words are lonely glow. Anywho, I do like this song alot. It sounds to me as someone who is lost, and God has now found them.
im thinking claripatra is right on, thats what i got out of it too. and the word is in fact "road" to resolve any doubts. switchfoot rocks
yeah its definitely road not glow. i thought it was glow haha then i read the lyrics in the booklet
