i think this means that hes totally disgusted with what hes done with his life and himself and he wish he had never made a band. i also think he is realting to his child hood when his mother would make him fresh apple pies and read him stories before bedtime.

its about the writing of the album itself he builds these songs as if he was sewing together frankenstein, and in the end his creation just destroys him
he's created a real life monster and it probably killed some neighborhood kids.
