So you've found
A better hiding place on the ground
Inside the image
Of who they think you are
I wish the best of everything for you
I hope you know that honestly I do
How long can you run
Turn your back on everyone
Just let me know
When you're tired of being alone
So you wait
All through the night until today
Wait for the illusion
Of the perfect song
I wish the best of everything for you
I hope you know that honestly I do
How long can you run
Turn your back on everyone
Just let me know
When you're tired of being alone
A better hiding place on the ground
Inside the image
Of who they think you are
I hope you know that honestly I do
How long can you run
Turn your back on everyone
Just let me know
When you're tired of being alone
All through the night until today
Wait for the illusion
Of the perfect song
I hope you know that honestly I do
How long can you run
Turn your back on everyone
Just let me know
When you're tired of being alone

i wish someone could say his to me... I feel so lost and alone sometimes... I keep running from everyone.... except from myself...
me too
i run from everyone and myself
I think the meaning is quite straight forward, so here's how I see it - Basically, there's a person who hides themselves away from the world and the people in it, and the singer is wishing them the best, and letting them know that he's there for them when they want to stop hiding.
I found a mistake in the lyrics. The second line is "a better hiding place than on the ground" (Normally, i wouldn't care, but to me this line means a lot.)
the song is about ending a relationship, because one of you found someone else to share their life with. It's about still caring for your ex and wishing them the best, even thought it isn't what you'd like for yourself to happen. You'll accept the fact that the other "waits for the illusion of the perfect song" -in this case, the perfect song would be his or her new relationship.-
I'm convinced this is a sequel to "Just Another Name".
