Walt Disney Lyrics
It's cold outside
Seven months of suicide
I've been in suspended animation
Just like Walt Disney
My only love asks for me to wait out there
I waited, waited but she didn't care
Just like Walt Disney
I'm just thawing out
My finger tips and toes are frozen to the bone
Give me your love before you throw me in the cold
Ring ring ring, now I hear the phone singing
Callin' me, telling you to start freezing
Just like Walt Disney
I'm a block of ice
My finger tips and toes are frozen to the bone
Give me your love before you throw me in the cold
Give me your love before you pick me up and throw me across the sea why don't you please
Just like Walt Disney
Seven months of suicide
I've been in suspended animation
Just like Walt Disney
I waited, waited but she didn't care
Just like Walt Disney
I'm just thawing out
Give me your love before you throw me in the cold
Callin' me, telling you to start freezing
Just like Walt Disney
I'm a block of ice
Give me your love before you throw me in the cold
Give me your love before you pick me up and throw me across the sea why don't you please
Just like Walt Disney

i cant believe no one has written anything about this song. its an old song rivers did back in the day, before weez came to be. ive heard some people talk about how ironic it is talking about being frozen and all that, "just like walt disney" who is cryogenically (sp?) frozen...thats pretty odd. the words are depressing and sad, yet the music is very upbeat and happy sounding. ive always thought the song was about suicide and all, and that the happy music was basically like covering up the hurt and anger by making everything seem alright. either way a great song.
It's deceptively happy like The Beatles "Help!" I think he says "asked" instead of "asks" also "telling me to stop freezing" instead of "telling you to start freezing" "Give me a note" instead of "give me your love".
This song rocks. I can't help but listening to it over and over. ppl are really missing out. Go find this song.
Walt Disney was NOT crygenically frozen.
Yes - the whole walt disney being frozen thing is nothing more than a myth, and this song as we know it was done in 1995. I like it, it's quirky.
I think its funny that he says Across the Sea
Not a bad song, I like the lyrics, the vocals are pretty good, but the chorus just reminds me of the music they play in airports.
Rivers wrote this after (or nearing the end of, I forget) the lengthy Blue album tour, feeling really burned out playing the same songs every night. It's about his existential woes, the same emotion that made him enroll back in school.
