Nobody's Here Lyrics
Hello, it's good to see you here
Come in, can I offer you a beer?
And they say this what it's like forever
...Roll this up, it's deadly...
To feel, feel like there's nobody here
...Feel like there's no more fear
I wanna feel like this for a year...
...Feel like there's nobody here...
Why can't I remember?
Heroes, they take my breath away
Zero the dials
See how a breakdown breaks ground
And zeros the miles
Come in, can I offer you a beer?
And they say this what it's like forever
...Roll this up, it's deadly...
To feel, feel like there's nobody here
...Feel like there's no more fear
I wanna feel like this for a year...
...Feel like there's nobody here...
Zero the dials
See how a breakdown breaks ground
And zeros the miles

beautiful
I think this song is about knowing that, when you're depressed, the only person you can really count on to comfort you is yourself. At least, that's how I feel, and I'm bipolar like devy.
"Roll this up, it's deadly" is definitely referring to marijuana here, I believe. Dev was an avid user of it, though I don't remember if he was still doing it while making this album.
"Why can't I remember" may also be a symptom of marijuana usage. It causes memory loss.
I myself have never done marijuana, so I don't know if it makes you "feel like there's nobody here"..but I believe there is much more depth to this song than simply marijuana. Maybe not though, Devin's songs can sometimes be over-interpreted.
I also have no idea what the last part of the song is supposed to mean.
I think the first album he made off of weed was zto, but I could be wrong. That was the album that he was really trying to prove something to himself, he made it completely on his own.

The song is about getting high off marijuana to forget your troubles and depression. The person just wants out of the problems and ordeals caused by people in their life. They are hiding from their problems from being stoned, 'I want to feel like this for a year'.
The last part is about having a breakdown (either high or not) and gaining a new perspective on life and depression afterwards. The person can move forward fresh 'zero the miles'. The heroes probably stand for the people that help someone out of depression and love them. They help the person start over mentally with a fresh slate even if it starts with a painful mental breakdown.
It's an amazingly beautiful song.
I can't speak for anyone else, least of all the dev, but to me this song is about depersonalisation caused by excessive cannabis intake,
