I hear a voice say, "Don't be so blind"
It's telling me all these things
That you would probably hide
Am I your one and only desire?
Am I the reason you breathe
Or am I the reason you cry?

Always, always, always, always, always, always
I just can't live without you
I love you, I hate you, I can't get around you
I breathe you, I taste you, I can't live without you
I just can't take any more
This life of solitude
I guess that I'm out the door
And now I'm done with you
(Done with you)
Done with you, done with you, done with you
(Done with you)

I feel, like you don't want me around
I guess I'll pack all my things
I guess I'll see you around
It's all been bottled up until now
As I walk out your door
All I can hear is the sound

Always, always, always, always, always, always
I just can't live without you
I love you, I hate you, I can't get around you
I breathe you, I taste you, I can't live without you
I just can't take any more
This life of solitude
I guess that I'm out the door
And now I'm done with you

I love you, I hate you, I can't live without you

I left my head around your heart
Why would you tear my world apart?

Always, always, always (always)

I see, the blood all over your hands
Does it make you feel, more like a man?
Was it all, just a part of your plan?
The pistol's shakin' in my hands
And all I hear is the sound

I love you, I hate you, I can't live around you
I breathe you, I taste you, I can't live without you
I just can't take any more
This life of solitude
I guess that I'm out the door
And now I'm done with you

I love you, I hate you, I can't live without you

I love you, I hate you, I can't live without you
I just can't take any more
This life of solitude
I pick myself off the floor
And now I'm done with you

Always, always, always

this song reminds me a lot of what i am going through right now because a friend of mine and I got in a fight at a place and she left and i see her all the time because we go to the same dance classes and she talks to our friends and stuff and we make eye contact and neither of us have really said anything becasue as much as we r angry at each other we still have gone through a lot togethe r so the line "I love you I hate I can't live without you, I breathe you I taste you I can't live without you" really makes me think of her because i know her to well and know that she feels the same way since it is also her myspace song

Both as a standalone and as part of the DSOTS album, you can take this lyric as read. As a matter of public record, Jourgensen's drug intake was legendary even in the 1980s. By the late 90s, in his own words, he was grappling with massive addiction issues and had lost almost everything: friends, spouse, money and had nearly died more than once. "Dark Side of the Spoon" is a both funny & sad title for an album made by a musical genius who was losing the plot; and this song is a message to his fans & friends saying he knows it. It's painful to listen to so I'm glad the "Keith Richards of industrial metals" wised up and cleaned up. Well done sir.

@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
