i think it's about being lonely and drinking
Yeah i guess the line "Feel the thorns of alcohol" kinda give that away, but not only drinking i think its about drowning yourself in it as an escape b/c you have no control over your life.
I would have to agree. It sounds like drowning your loneliness in alcohol. thus becoming an alcoholic. undo control.
It's definitely about the lack of control and the insanity alcohol brings whether you're the individual with the problem or you're exposed to it in a relationship.
