Spider

I think it's a throwback to some of the corny, English-overdubbed, B-Movies that came out of Japan in the late-60s.

I always loooked at it from the arachnid standpoint, we dont like spiders, they tend to frighten us, so out of some sort of reflex we usually try to kill them, but spiders are the ones that keep the populations of other far mor harmful insects in check so its usually advisabel not to kill them, since 99% of the time they will live people alone and dont even eat our food. Besides we all know its bad luck to kill a spider.

Yes. This song reminds me of some kinds of science fiction movie that isnt good. If it were a real movie I'm sure it would be very good.

I'm pretty sure it's about Spider Man.

One minute, they love him, and he's their hero, and the next, they hate him and want to get rid of him.

My cousin said this song is poking fun at German bands, i.e. Rammstein, as it is in the exact choppy, almost ridiculous-sounding style as most of their music. I tend to agree.

I just love it when they say "SHPYDAH." its really very satisfying.

It is not "poking fun at...Rammstein" as it was recorded before Rammstein was even formed.

Just a thought... I was thinking maybe it was a parody of the Queen song "Flash", since the voices that cut in and out talking about "Spider" remind me of the voices in "Flash" a lot. But I think Queen knew what thy were doing was ridiculous while they made that song. Spider's a nice tribute! lol
