On Sidewalks Lyrics
footsteps. my name. spelled out in treason. on sidewalks fall dreams of life. in the cast of a play without lines. prerehearsed and fake. white light across the lake. should have been gold. into this woods. into this woods we go. take the shadows of life to heart. and know you can't be right

this song, is amazing the lyrics itself paint an eerie picture words cannot describe and the song melodies and riffs match so wonderfully
the appleseed cast defines a certain post-hardcore glory. as always a stunning display of powerful emotion that is a moving story that is about loss and the steps taken to overcome the sorrow that lingers on.
the appleseed cast helps me realize that the only way to feel alive is to embrace closely the pain that makes me who i am.
my heart soars.
you idiot, you took that right out of that little cd advertising thing that came with this cd... be original
haha. nicee. make your own real interpretation of the songs too. and try not to rely so much on lyrics. because artists are the best liars.
i think this song is about how we walk into the uncertainty of life and no matter which choice we take; we know there will always be a greater possible outcome regardless of the choice we have made. and delving deeper i think that part of this is the fact that the uncertainty of life & the choices we make define who we are; if everything went perfectly what would life even be without the pain?
a tad long winded but thats my interpretation.
this album was obviously pretty heavily influenced by sunny day real estate - but like mineral, the appleseed cast possesses such lyrical prowess and musical talent to set them apart from SDRE
Oddly, this song reminds me of Harry Potter... the third book, with the scene in the forest when Harry does a Patronus spell to protect himself and Sirius.
