Depression sets in
No one's looking at you
They figured you out
They know your routine
They know the score
They've done all they can for you
I've done all I can
The road is long the road is wide
I buried myself half alive
But I'm seeking truth, higher ground
I'm humbled when I make
An honest mistake

The timer is set for guilt to set in
You taught me the dance with Pavlov's approach
And heavy hand
I used to perform for you
I just can't perform

Burning in the sun
Drying up the tears as they fall
One, by one, until there's none

Detachment sets in
I'm done looking at you
Does that make me the stronger man?
Is victory mine?
Funny, I don't feel so strong
Funny, I don't feel

General CommentI think I recall a show where they mentioned how they they left Teri at the venue after a show because they thought she was already in the van. It was an "honest mistake".
