this song is amazing, typical of dashboard of course. about a guy who's had his girlfriend leave her but the memory of her never leaves, plus she is trying her best to make it clear to him that shes getting about while he simply behaves hopelessly, missing her to death, wondering why she's acting like this.
well the song is about a girl who leaves a guy but tells him that they cud be "friends" and that its not becuasee she doesnt love him but becuase its an unhealthy relationship (i hope your as happy as your pretending) hes troubled by the fact that shes making out with other guys and acting lyk a sl** just becuase she doesnt knw how to deal with the break-up and thats y he says "make sure i knw whos taking you home"becuase he cares for her and doesnt want her to fall into the wrong hands. she wants to go live her lyf care-free but he loves her so much tht he cant stand seeing her without him.
