First of all, it's not about a girlfriend one of them may have had! It's about Evan White's mother who died sometime before they made this record! Evan White was the original guitarist to this band ever since they started out as a trio! When he says "when this world fades away, i will see you again" He means when he dies or gets ruptured, He will see his mother in heaven again! How do i know this song is dedicated to Evan White's mother? Well if anyone has the original booklet to the original album! Right under the title for the lyrics it says "In memory of Andrea S. White". Who was Evan White's mother.

exactly. I also think he means that once he stops being sad, he'll be able to remember the happy bits too, so he'll be able to remember her, and 'see' her again, in his memory.
