This is a great song. First song on the album "CoLd".

The very first song I ever heard by Cold. I saw this video the summer between my 8th and 9th grade year (aka 1998). It was unreal. The video was crazy wicked with all these scary lookin lil kids running around. Scooter wore a cowboy hat or something and you couldn't see his face. I was enamoured with this. It was so hardcore. I feel in love with cold and picked up this cd a year later at the only damn store I had seen it at. The Virgin Megastore in Grapevine, TX. To me this song is also about drug addiction of some kind. The person on the drugs has fallen into madness "everyone could see your madness slip". This person can't stop using the drugs and they begin to freak out even more. People around have 'seen enough' and force the person away. Oh, I also like at the very end, if you listen close you can hear Scooter say "FUCK YOU PIECE OF SHIT!"

OMG this is a great song!!!! shame that there arnt more comments!! This song is great and i think that scooter is trying to tell the ppl that music is really personal and not just something that you listen to... you have to feel it .....and he is saying "go away" to all the ppl that dont see that !! LIKE when he says: For every song you ever wrote take another fucking Drink For every melody that haunts take a pill that Makes you faint For every part of you that hurts take a Needle make it sting

Now to me that tells me that it hurts him to right the songs but he still does it because it keeps him alive!!!! and it is what he loves to do!!

There is a slight problem with the lyrics written on this page. When Scooter says "The irony is I'm just like you" the next part is pseudo fucking freak not "a another fucking freak" Of course this mistake is small and i just thought i would clear it up...

I'm a huge fan of cold. scooter is one of the few songwriters that i can feel all the pain that he expresses in his music. i own all of colds albums but this is by far the best. their older shit is just so much more brutally/beautifully emotionally scarring.

Highly doubt what this is what Scooter wrote it about, but the lyrics, especially the mid section is something i relate to all the fakes there are these days...Mainly, being a musician and a song writer myself, i am angered by the amount of people that write and make music just to impress ... the "Psuedo fucking freaks" if you will. I dont know if this makes sense to anyone but myself, but i wish they would just GO AWAY
