Cold Shower Tuesdays Lyrics
Her finger traced I love you
In the palm of my hand
That's still the only time
My belly's ever hit the floor like that
Your feet in my lap
We drove the past
Knowing we would turn around again
Tell her I'm not sorry
Mention my Ferrari
Just don't tell her that
I miss her
She wanted in
I wanted out
And that's the last thing we talked about
Remember how much our hands matched
Love lines, same size
I guess I should have checked
To see the lifelines were in line
I called on the phone
You still felt alone
And talked about the songs that made you cry
Campfire cookies
And John Hughes movies
Junior mints and cold shower Tuesdays
November shivers and rearview mirrors
And the little things like that
In the palm of my hand
That's still the only time
My belly's ever hit the floor like that
We drove the past
Knowing we would turn around again
Mention my Ferrari
Just don't tell her that
I miss her
She wanted in
I wanted out
And that's the last thing we talked about
Love lines, same size
I guess I should have checked
To see the lifelines were in line
You still felt alone
And talked about the songs that made you cry
And John Hughes movies
Junior mints and cold shower Tuesdays
November shivers and rearview mirrors
And the little things like that

hey...it's "remember how much our hands MATCHED" im sure its a tiny little typo but it completely changes the mood of that line...hahaha im thinking about hands "macking". but anyways...this is a cute song, makes me remember the little things
StupedEmoGirl... I fixed it. Sorry about the inconvenience.... -B
great song, im seeing hem live, cant wait.
I also love this song it is just sooo true in today's society...
this song is simply a reminecence of a past relationship. it sets up a wonderful scene of the singer casually talking to a friend who has recently talked to his ex, that he misses, but of course, his testosterone out beats his feelings, and he takes the opposite reaction~ 'just dont tell her that i miss her' i think this song has a lesson in it. altho he cannot ever get this relationship back, and says he woudl never want to, he remembers 'all the little things like that' and still realizes them for what they were. he sees the good in teh relationship and doesnt let the bad take over. he sees what he loved too.
Well i think we are missing out the cold shower tuesdays. It likely means they were at an age before they had sex so he had to have cold shower tuesdays to calm himself down, Not sure about the john Hughes movies though
In Y7 the Drunk Enough To Dance album and half of Blink-182 2003 album was all I have so I ended up only listening to them songs. This is one of my fave songs of all time and reminds me of my 1st secondary school boyfriend. The line "She wanted in, I wanted out, And that's the last thing we talked about" Made me think about him a lot but reversed he was the kinda guy who wanted to go quick but I didnt.
"Jr. mints & cold shower Tuesdays, November shivers and rear view mirrors, And the little things like that." Has to be the line I remember the most I love this song so flipping much and it always reminds me of Y7 the whole album is amazing like the band. :)
