I can't believe I'm the first one to comment on this song. This is probably one of my favorite weezer songs. Its probably the most poetic song Rivers ever wrote. Really cool. Listen to it!!
This is a beautiful song! It's more mellow than the most of their other songs, and it's just great. Definitely listen to it if you haven't already!
This song has such a great melody. Also, it was very creative of Rivers to write in 3rd person. Very, very artistic. Love this song.
It's surely not their best, but to see a weezer song with a story line is refreshing...even though this song has been scrapped, I think it's a step up from maladroit.

The melody and lyrics of this song are fantastic - it's really refreshing to hear something a bit different, but still with weezerish undertones to it. The lyrics are beautiful - more poetic than anything else I've heard of Rivers'. And Rivers' vocals are just perfect.
"The Organ Player" is obviously about masturbation. "The player plays ever furiously"? "Spreading venom on the crowd"? Come on.
