Night Drives

rattling change on the night stand
gabbing sleep whenever i can.
up the car sounds in the drive way
ohhh i just can't stay.

and although these eyes of mine might be tired
this heartache of mine still hurts.
As the sky turns a blue colored hue

time to let this skin of mine shed
time to sort it all out in my head.

trying to listen to what jesus has to say.
