Stanley Climbfall Lyrics
quiet
seems like an honest world
you're begging for the baker's bread when the money's out
stand, climb, and fall
you carry the world
can't carry your hope
when the world is falling down
and another breaks
and another falls
for losers always make the winner's day
stand, climb, and fall
you carry the weight
can't carry it all
are you falling
are you faking
are you killing
are you breaking
am I burning
am I only melting
these diamonds in the making
when I'm at the end of myself
everything you want
when nothing seems to satisfy me
take anything you want
quiet
a sound you know so well
you're living just to make it through another day
stand, climb, and fall
you carry the world
can't carry your hope
are you falling
are you faking
are you killing
are you breaking
am I burning
am I only melting
these diamonds in the making
when I'm at the end of myself
everything you want
when nothing seems to satisfy me
take anything you want
take anything you want
take anything you want
quiet
seems like an honest world
you're begging for the baker's bread when the money's out
stand, climb, and fall
you carry the world
can't carry your hope
and another breaks
and another falls
for losers always make the winner's day
you carry the weight
can't carry it all
are you faking
are you killing
are you breaking
am I burning
am I only melting
these diamonds in the making
everything you want
when nothing seems to satisfy me

i haven't been able to get a copy of the actual song but I love lifehouse.
This songs seems like it is about how people are dependent on other people and how things are given and taken from us.
I think this song is about someone who always feels responsible for others' mistakes but can't seem to handle their own. And then it sounds like its coming from that person's point of view and theyre feeling sorry for the mistakes theyve made. :) All in all, this song makes me feel great, and I lovvvvvvvvve it~!
i need to correct some lyrics...i sorry...but i do...2nd real line of the song should be "you're beggin for the baby's bread when the money's out" and then the chorus should go "when i'm at the end of myself/anything you want/when nothing seems to satisfy me/take anything you want" thank you. now. the chorus (and only the chorus) says to me...okay i have absolutely no idea what it says to me, but i just love it! the chorus speaks to me in a way i cant put into words. thats gonna bug me. i'l have to try to figure that out.
it aint beggin for the baby's bread Desaparecida mate ur mistaken there, its actually " beggin for beggars bread when the moneys out" its like that in the album
are you falling are you faking are you killing <<<----- that is wrong its actually HEALING are you breaking
again its in the album, are any of u really lifehouse fans or just one off song fans?
this, i think, is their best song. arguably, others are equally great. but i like this one and i shall be selfish and declare it their best song. (in my own little universe) it's the guitar that really gets me, not the lyrics, actually. but oh wow what a great song.
This song is clearly about life. I think its a beautiful song, not for the lyrics, but for the guitar. I also love how Jason sings this song--it's so calming.
oh i understand the title of the song now but it it took me awhile to understand this Stand Climb and Fall which Make up Stanley Climbfall
for losers always make the winner's day - SHOULD be "Four losers always make the winner's day".
This is my fav song on their new CD. Like a lot of lifehouse songs, this song can be interprested in many differenent ways. To me, it's about life. "stand, climb, and fall" That pretty much sums up what life is all about....
"I'm at the end of myself, anything you want. Nothing seems to satisfy me take anything you want." Those lyrics are soooooooo powerful.
