I Am A Human Head Lyrics

I'm a human head and my best friend is also a head
I don't realy need my best friend
Now my friend is gone and
I'm only a head all by myself
I find I don't need my whole head
Now I'm just the top of a head
Just a scalp and the hair
I don't like the scalp just the hair

What do I realy need, best friend, also a head
Just head, just the scalp, hair
Friend NO
Head NO
Scalp NO
Hair

I am only one human hair with no scalp for a home
All I need's the top of a head
Now all I am is just a scalp I don't have any head
I'd be glad if I had a head
Now I have a head look, at me,
I'm a fine floating head
Where is my friend the other head?

I think @jonnies is on the right track, but I think it's more about taking stuff for granted. So we have a great head for a friend, but then we take it for granted and decide we don't even need it. And proceed to do so with all of our possessions, until we have nothing. Then we realize that we probably should've kept the friend around cause we're all lonely n stuff. Such is the attitude of a human head.

I think this song is really sort of comforting. It's saying that sure, we don't NEED anything, but nothing's wrong with wanting small comforts. And the way it's put is pretty funny.
