I think part of this song..has to do with Jeff Buckley. He died by drowning.." A body goes down in Mississippi waters". If my memory serves me right, Jeff Buckley drowned in waters near or the Mississippi River, being tugged down under a wake of a boat.
The whole song is about JB.
