Is anyone else awake?
Deaf ears on these words must fall.

Dodging friendly fire,
Which marksmanship inspires.

The end that is never the end.
There's no difference between foe or friend.
With blanks in the chamber,
They'd have you believe.
Faces so sober,
Trusting souls deceived.

Mouthless children,
Still promises they feed.
Bullets softer now,
But still we bleed.

The end that is never the end.
There's no difference between foe or friend.
With blanks in the chamber,
They'd have you believe.
Faces so sober,
Trusting souls deceived.

The megaphone speaks.
Still pulses race and scream.
Things will be quiet soon.

The end that is never the end.
There's no difference between foe or friend.
With blanks in the chamber,
They'd have you believe.
Faces so sober,
Trusting souls deceived.

General Commentu guys may be right, but i see it as a political song. i view it how the govt really takes advantage of us and how no matter how hard we try we cant change it. like this is almost the end of freedom. even though id like to think its more of a relationship ending the lyrics lead to politics
