I think Bono is relating when he says "I have kissed honey lips Felt the healing in her fingertips It burned like fire This burning desire.....It was warm in the night I was cold as a stone" he is relating to Judes because when Judes betrayed Jesus he kissed him, then feeling so bad that night killed himself, that hint is from cold as a stone....and the devils hand is because he betrayed Jesus. Also in the song when he repeats "But i still haven't found what i'm looking for" he is speaking about the people who are trying to find proof of Jesus, and almost find Jesus himself, but Jesus is everywhere, he is the living God....and this song is also about pure faith just like WildHoney said....faith w/ out proof, thats true fatih
