This is my favorite OpIvy song. To me, the song is about a bad scene, it happens in Hoboken, New Jersey. The bad scene was started by one person or band.
i duno to me it seems like its about someone being framed for sumthin, and mirages of the person who actually did the crime bothers the shit outa the guy in jail!
Sounds like a someone did something bad to someone else that really bothered them but they won't tell the other what's wrong. The person is very tightlipped but the other is very concerned about what exactly happened and can't stop thinking about what could possibly go wrong because he values their friendship. but really now, what's up with the Hoboken reference? I only hear good things about Hoboen.
I live about 2 hours away from Hoboken, New Jersey and there's a lot of drugs in that part of NJ.. mostly a lot of heroin is found there. But anyway, Tim Armstrong was addicted to drugs durin his time in OpIvy.. so the "you" reference in the song Hoboken.. could be a reference to drugs that he was addicted to
haha what?! Hoboken isn't a drug spot. It's yuppie as shit. Back in the 80's though, it was a lot more dangerous, so your assessment might be right.
