Room Without A Window Lyrics
for attempted education or righteous accusation
only a description just an observation of the pitiful
condition of our degeneration
walls made of opinions thru which we speak and never listen
ceiling made of pride vicious and self satisfied
door thats made of rage hard and slowly aged
always closing tighter with every war that's waged
room without a window cant see out...
floor is made of lives wed gladly end to stay inside
corners made of borders, borders made of law and order
painted with the words of politicians and religion
plastered with the wreckage of our cultural division
room without a window can't see out...

I don't think it has anything to do with the media. Its more like, the room we build around ourselves that stands in the way of any real unity.

i think this song is about ignorance, impatience, hedonistic individualism, nationalism, class division, religious intolerance, etc. etc. Essentially about all the methods Jesse Michaels felt the people of the world use to divide ourselves from one another, leaving us in a "room without window", with a door closing fast...

This is my favourite Operation Ivy song!

yyyeeeh!

how the media doesn't tell the citizens of america everything bad that happens, because we are all living in a room w/o a window where we just cant see out. operation ivy is the mofo-ing shit. thank you. bye

hell yeah

my fav. operation ivy song!

i dont think this song is neccessarily about the media not telling people what's going on or about how ignorant the american public can be (no offence i mean alot of the public)

No, this song is all about ignorance and how everyone seems to think that their the best, and we separate our selves, mostly due to the way we are raised. Media has a huge play in the way this works, but so does our doctored history books and the fact that racism is bred and even encouraged in some parts of our most wonderful country.

i think this song is bout how ppl lock up their families from the outside world and stay in a "room without a window" for their whole lifes. ne1 agree?
