Dumpweed Lyrics

It's understood, I said it many ways
Too scared to run, I'm too scared to stay
I said I'd leave, but I could never leave her
And if I did, you know I'd never cheat her

But this I ask, it's what I want to know
How would you feel, if I should choose to go
Another guy, you think he'd be unlike me
Another guy, you think he'd want to fight me

She's a dove, she's a fucking nightmare
Unpredictable, it was my mistake to stay here
On the go and it's way too late to play
I need a girl that I can train

I heard it once, I'm sure I heard it twice
My dad used to give me all of his advice
He would say you got to turn your back and run now
Come on son, you haven't got a chance now

She's a dove, she's a fucking nightmare
Unpredictable, it was my mistake to stay here
On the go and it's way too late to play
I need a girl that I can train

She's a dove, she's a fucking nightmare
Unpredictable, it was my mistake to stay here
On the go and it's way too late to play
I need a girl that I can train

Need a girl that I can train
Need a girl that I can train
Turn your back and run now
You haven't got a chance now

Need a girl that I can train
Need a girl that I can train
Turn your back and run now
You haven't got a chance now

Ahaha.. to anyone who says this song is sexist: You're a giant fucking tool. No one would be saying a thing if a female musician wrote the line "I need a guy that I can train." This is coming from a female. Live a little.

@EndMyDaysWithYou this is pretty woke for 2009 ngl

This song is about how it would be great if girls could be trained, like dogs can be. It is also about a guy who is in a relationship that goes up and down. One minute the girl is cool and then next she is crazy. The guy should have gotten out of the relationship a long time ago, but its almost too late.

i kinda hate this song.. it sounds ok, but the lyrics are terrible... pah "girl that i can train", how immature...

Guys, take it easy. There's no real interpretation here, this is a band that got famous by writing songs about dicks and having sex with dogs. Yes, the line 'I need a girl that I can train' is sexist out of context, but it's Blink-182. It's a fucking joke, part of a fun song that's made by perhaps not the most talented band ever, but a fun one to listen to. A little perspective, please.

I love this song... it just has that perfect pop-punk sound that Blink is all about. Just one of those songs that puts you in a good mood.
