I really think more about what the music's doing to interpret lyrics...people think slayer is very surface-styled and pretty self-explanatory...however, this song is not just about going to hell...it's about going to one of their shows. It's a pretty popular opener for many of them. Trust me, it takes on a different meaning when you see them do it.
"Burning from within..." and "Coils of the Serpent unwind". This song is talking about the Kundalini experience.
wow....this GREAT SONG is about a soul(man) that has gone to hell and is meeting SATAN, or whoever rules hell...and satan is showing him around the hell landscape. that simple really. if u think about it....30% of all slayer songs are about going to hell. :p
