Are you kidding? They're saying that war is insane, and is mandatory suicide. That and the fact that they're describing it as pure hell would make it seem pretty clear that they're not supporting their subject matter.

This is a song expressing the horrors of war. Slayer does not take sides though.

i think you are both right. but i also think that its how someone is forced to go to war even tho they are scared and don't know what to do. hint. Mandatory as in, you must do it. i highly dough any 18 year old wanted to go to war.
