The sample is from a movie called Stalag 17. It was made in 1953 and was adapted from a play about POW's in a German camp who believe they have an . William Holden won an Oscar for his role in the movie and his speech was credited as the shortest speech in Oscar history, simply being "Thank you." It's one of my favourite movies and if you get a chance to see it, then do so.
Oh and the quote is from the character Animal and he is referring to famous pin up Betty Grable.
