How come I'm the first one to comment this song? I think it's the best song of Lit and the lyrics are very femmiliar. About a girl who expects way more of the relationship than you do, and her dumping you when she finds out it ain't going that well

Great tune by Lit... I guess this is a sad song about 2 people who are together and really care about each other, but she just wants more than what she has... Women are freakin fickle, let's face it...
This song was pretty much explained on the All Access DVD- It's about a musician always on the road while his girlfriend/wife is at home without him. That lifestyle pushes people apart and decreases the likelihood of being able to make it last... he has pretty much already moved on, but she's living in the past, hanging on to the feeling they had in the beginning... knowing that it's over and only a matter of admitting it, but pretending that that everything is ok to postpone the inevitable hurt that awaits her
To me, this song is very special. Not because it applies to me directly, but I do know a couple that went through this.
It's about a couple who have been together for a very long time and have grown distant from each other over time. They still care about each other a great deal, but the love they had has since faded and they're really only staying together because it's all they've known for so long.
P.S.- It's a tragedy that so few people have commented on this song. It's absolutely beautiful. By far Lit's best song, hands down.
