The tic begins where's the manned end?
The climate change will never get in
Silent and strong and prepossessed
You never need to make your own mess
Weasel to me in charming to some
Loathsome and glib
Habits like self-love
Wearing slim fast you carve your niche
Lean smug back and work your pitch
And all the way i'm gone, no
Demon race to find
You paint it up and know that
Any face can lie
Affect my greatest style, what
Suits me best of all
Keep my pocket filled, lean right and
Fall
The climate change will never get in
Silent and strong and prepossessed
You never need to make your own mess
Loathsome and glib
Habits like self-love
Wearing slim fast you carve your niche
Lean smug back and work your pitch
Demon race to find
You paint it up and know that
Any face can lie
Affect my greatest style, what
Suits me best of all
Keep my pocket filled, lean right and
Fall

This song has one fat bad-ass riff! Helmet is the most underrated 90's metal band.
I remember back in the early 90’s when Helmet had their [in my opinion, undeserved] 15 minutes of fame. I was a sophomore in high school when Betty came out, and this was probably the only decent song on it. The riff is mostrous, but I always though the vocal delivery was so weak, especially compared to other metal bands at the time, like Carcass and Entombed (Wolverine Blues had come out a year before Betty, and did nothing short of blow this out of the water). Hamilton sounds constipated at best. And now as an adult reading the lyrics, they’re typical 90’s nonsensical garbage.
