I think this song is obviously about love. The reason I really like it is because it isn't about the fake "Love at first sight" and "Happily ever after" bullshit that most love songs are about, it's about the type of love that a lot of times hurts. Just my opinion
A lost lover being lied to, going through all of love's torments. Whether paranoid, or really being lied to, you decide, I guess. I was surprised to see these kinda songs from In Flames, but I love the guitar work at the start and end of this song, fantastic! They should have remade Biosphere '99 ! Ah well ... guess it's too love-like for Colony, although it probably would have fitted on RTR, heh.

And yeah, this song is pretty much about how a couple was in love, and the guy/girl was dumped, confusing them, because apparently, they were told "I love you" the night before.
idk, scorn is somewhat about love so Biosphere '99 might have worked... it has alot of harmonies like colony, as well... gods, i love this song. but yeah, it's more realistic than most love songs without being super emoful... pretty good rhymes too, and i really love that intro riff... //Jotun

I think this song is about how he is dying and is thinking about his lover and the way he is leaving her or even how he f***** up and lost her & just wants her to remember him.
Definitely one of the sweetest guitarwork made by In Flames... but i really don't like the voice of the dark tranquillity guy. Like said above, they should have made a Biosphere '99.
the lyrics aren't as deep as usual from In Flames too.. a bit disapointing.
