The intro sounds so much like Lord Hypnos that I sometimes forget which one of them I'm listening to.
Deadly, deadly song.
If I had to guess at what it means , it might have something to do with being cast into the shadows or being alienated.
That's probably not it though.

A very hard song to get a meaning out of ... it tends to scatter just when it's on a main point, stilla great set of lyrics and a great song, though.
Whoever they're talking about is an extremely dark and mysterious, definately dangerous person. Words like "voyeur" adding a sickness and perversity to him. He seems one of a dark clan, who feasts on the night and lives in it. Perhaps simply a story of a demon's journey outwards, also, he seems to be running away from problems(to rouse a sacred confrontation) and, as is the theme of this album, this is the start of the degeneration to becoming part of the Jester Race?
Awesome song, music is awesome and the lyrics are awesome.. But hte meaning? After all only author can really know, but my guess would be that this song tells about someone, whose missing something and this missing thing makes him/her mad and he/she is trying to compensate this missing thing with things that are lie..
It's about the misanthrope who watches the Jester Race from the 'outside'. Listen to Jester Race as if it's just a guy talking who thinks all of humanity (including himself) should die, and it makes more sense.

i think it sort of tells a story.. maybe some guy wanted a girl or something..then didnt get her or something and hes all upset and hates everything..
