I think there is a reason this song is right after 'Waste' on the 'Break The Cycle' album. Look at those lyrics if you don't know what I mean.
This song is Aaron telling all his fans to not give up and not to bring themselves down or let him bring them down but to live your life. You've got everything you need, just take it. Seize the day, take control of your life, keep going, don't give up.
He's looking around and seeing how fucked up everyone is and everyone's depressed and feels all this pain and he's sad cuz he can't stop it or help it but he wants to and it's really up to you. And he's saying that he feels that way to and he knows how hard it is and that sometimes all you can do is just hang on... Hold on till tomorrow, things will get better just keep trying, never give up.
But yet it's hopeless...

He's saying he's just like us, we're just like him. When things are not so good we have to take the chances we get ('take it') and 'live for our tomorrow' and that's how he got where he is. everybody can be where he is.
