This moisture slides from my eyes
It glistens, it glistens
There's nowhere left to go now
If you teach me, I'll listen

A favorite time for mistakes
In salt lakes, we all shake
Consider me your apprentice
Repentant, yet hesitant

Please show me a sign

[Chorus]
Come inside, kneel
Remember who built your home
I built you flesh and bone

This image comes from somewhere
Who is it? Spiritual visit
Coincidence is one thing
Overwhelming immaculate timing

Everything we had is gone
Something new must come up strong now
I feel that I belong
And I trust you and I love you

Please show me a sign

Come inside, kneel
Remember what you hear
And I'll be still right here
Come inside, kneel
Remember who built your home
I built you flesh and bone

And I'm torn between halos, demons
All these words with cryptic meanings
Separate seasons
All these issues and
mixed up feelings
And I have to choose

Everything we had is gone
Something new must come up strong now
I feel that I belong
And I trust you and I love you

Please show me a sign

Come inside, kneel
Remember what you hear
And I'll be still right here
Come inside, kneel

Remember who built your home
I built you flesh and bone
Come inside, look around
I'll lift off the ground

I snapped your ribs made a lover
So you could share each other
Come inside, kneel

Remember

General CommentActually what the song is about (and this is from Dryden himself) is having doubt in his religion and asking for answers and saying God if you exist please forgive me for not having faith in you, but give me a sign or something that you're there. He uses bible references in the song to illustrate the religion he's talking about. This is one of my favorite AAF songs, and one I can relate to. Well there you go ppl, now you know what the song is about.

General CommentThis song is about the creation of man. "This moisture slides from my eyes" is when God created the world, everyone was that tear. "And I trust you, and I love you" is when he was completing the project and man was made, he was trusting us to do good.

General Commentwell.. evilangel09 is onto something, but I'm not sure if that last one is correct.. but yeah, it's all about religion, and it's all about the creation of man. I wish I could give the complete meaning, but I completely forgot it at the moment.. :S

General CommentI Think its like Adam and Eve, "Everything we had is gone" That's when Eve sinned and they had to leave the garden of Eden. And how God created the eath and its so overwhelming and every works with immaculate timing.

General CommentActually what the song about is Dryden wondering if Christianity is right for him or not. Asking for some kind of sign to give him faith in it or something to believe in. It's about his doubt in the religion and wanting sometime to rely on, and saying God if you exist please forgive me for not having faith in you. I heard this from Dryden himself.
So there you go ppl, now you know what it's REALLY about.

    AAF kicks ass. Proud fan.
