His voice on this song is incredible. And it is brought out by the soft piano in the background. The piano part doesn't seem too complicated-only a few chords repeated. Which makes me think jack himself is playing the piano. If this is true, then it would probably rock in concert.
The lyrics are wack. They are confusing and seemingly make no sense. I would love an explanation on them. If Jack is a realativist(as he seems to be claiming), he really doesn't give a reason why. He seems to be saying that "it's all realative because I don't understand."
this song is about following the masses, believing what you are told. if you listen to the entire album, you can almost feel a theme in the songs. the first verse shows if you're beautiful, you're popular. no matter how boring and unoriginal you are. the second is stating that the media corrupts or sensationalizes the truth for ratings or what have you. and the last and best verse describes his battle in himself about God and faith. and, if you question the norm, you are considered a non-believer.
I have no clue wat the lyrics mean here... but i like all of his music his voice matches so well with the music its jus awesome how well he sings.
this is one of the greatest songs of the 00's <what else do you call this decade?> i think, whethere jack knew it or not, it sounds a lot like a hindu song. I like the way his music reflects our time, and how people act and in this case an attitude that people have or don't have.
this song is absolutely amazing. it highlights the fact that the whole world has become superficial and commercialized. something only jack can make us see. simply amazing and totally true

this song is simply how conforming our country has become just like simple said, tell people something and that is what they blv. sad that people gave up on first impressions and what they hear is the lasting one rather than deciding for themselves. if people mag says britney's the hottest thing out there, hey there's no room for argument cuz ppl forgot how to argue. it's like there's subliminal messages in everything now.

this is one of my favorite songs of all time. it has great, meaningful lyrics and his voice is SO amazing. i think its about how the world is just a bunch of people doing whats expected of them. they're told to like something, so they do. like brainwashing, i suppose.
